MISCANTHUS

The cultivation of this plant resulting from a cross is done on soils rather  rich and humid, requires few inputs and promotes biodiversity.

Miscanthus is harvested after the second winter, in the spring, once the humidity is reduced to make its use immediate.

It can reach 4 meters in one year and its harvests last 15 to 20 years.

Its impressive biomass productivity

gives it very good efficiency for use in renewable collective heating.

Its high absorbency allows high quality use as bedding or mulch.
