The cost of a 2MW Orbital tidal turbine is 2 million Euros, ie 4.5 to 11 times cheaper than nuclear power. A 1650 MW EPR costs between 7.5 and 20 billion, not counting the exploitation of resources, maintenance and  dismantling  (20 billion euros and 30 years for a  for example in Germany).

A tidal turbine is made mainly of steel and copper  which are recyclable and the maintenance is equivalent to that of a boat.

If we take into account the predictability and the inexhaustibility of currents and tides, the 1000 tons of concrete and steel of the foundations of a wind turbine avoided, this makes this technology above all known.
